Kate Miller
Kate Miller is thrilled to be back teaching with Bluebird Music Together after an extended maternity leave! Kate began her career after college, teaching elementary music in Arlington Virginia, outside of Washington, DC. While life in DC is exciting, Kate and her husband decided to move home to beautiful Upstate, NY. After having her first son, Bluebird Music Together became a weekly staple for her family! Actively participating with BBMT naturally transitioned into becoming a trained Music Together teacher and becoming part of the Bluebird teaching staff in 2019! It’s too difficult to choose a favorite collection but Ridin’ in the Car, Jim Jam Drummer, and Raisins and Almonds are most often heard in the Miller house. Kate, her husband Eric, three Bluebird Alumni sons, and two little kitty cats recently moved from Camillus to Auburn. If Kate had leisure time, she would spend it reading, baking, and gardening at her new home. Kate is so excited to dust off her ukelele and joyfully make music together again with her community in Auburn!
